As you may have read in Iagon’s official channels, the Iagon IDO date will be moved tentatively to early July 2021. The core reason for this change includes the current market conditions, which have switched focus on trading major cryptocurrencies rather than alts. As a result, the previously planned IDO would have launched in a poor secondary market for IAG tokens, and posed a risk to IDO participants.
Secondly, the Iagon team has identified more ecosystem partners who will join them in their mission of developing the first decentralized cloud computing infrastructure built on Cardano, and they would rather announce these partners properly before the IDO launch.
We would like to emphasize that this delay is solely temporary. Iagon will be postponing its IDO across all platforms. The Iagon team informed us in a constructive manner and we have wasted no time in communicating this planned change to our community.
All registered participants will still be eligible to participate in the IDO. The snapshot date will be extended and we will announce the new details shortly after we agree on the new terms with Iagon. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we hope that our community keeps supporting Iagon and makes its IDO even more successful.
Iagon aims to revolutionize the cloud by developing a massive processing and storage platform where anyone can profit from shared resources. The whole value proposition circles back to the potential of blockchain technology by letting smart device owners join the storage and processing power grids in order to create a completely decentralized data cloud and supercomputer.
